Funding the choir:

Funding is a large part of keeping the choir operating.  We do get some funding from the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council, but it only covers part of our expenses.  We rely on additional funds from ticket sales, donations and Membership Dues.  Membership dues amounts are listed below.

Please note that it is most helpful if we receive dues at the start of the season, as we have expenses from day1.  We do accommodate hardship cases and can arrange for weekly payments to be made.  NOTE:

Fundraising Sources/Information:

  • Choir Members dues are $50 per semester.
  • Additional family members’ dues are $25 per semester.
  • New members do not pay dues for their first semester.  Scholarships are available for teen members.
  • Members are asked to sell 5 tickets to each concert.
  • Tickets are $5, children 12 and under are free.

    Additional Fundraising:

Friendly's, in Sussex, occasionally partners with us on a fundraising dinner.  Also, we sell ads for our programs, and sometimes run other fund-raisers.

Funding has been made available in part by the New               Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State,

a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the

Arts, through the State/County    Partnership Block

Grant Program, as administered by the Sussex  County

       Arts & Heritage Council.”
